• To end our Camino we had planned a fairly short day to give ourselves the opportunity to have a good look around Santa Domingo de la Calzada,

However it didn’t quite work out that way !! You start the day with a very pleasant walk alongside the banks of the beautiful Rio Ebro, then through Haro which is a fairly large town but easily navigated through,

Then along beautiful tracks to Santo Domingo de la Calzada where this route joins The Camino Frances and the end of this Camino for me,

However You might wish to keep going all the way to Santiago de Compostela ! You pass through Haro as well as plenty of villages and have opportunities for a lunch break and coffees en-route. Excellent choice of accommodation available in Santo Domingo de la Calzada including two Refugio’s de Peregrino.

  • This map is the shorter alternative of this stage, and it only shows the route from Haro to Santa Domingo de la Calzada. In case you start this day in Briñas please also see the map from the previous page, La Puebla de Arganzon to Brinas.
