Viana

Viana is the last locality of Navarre, Sancho VII founded it on the border with Castille, with evidently defensive aims, it was surrounded by walls. Its many palaces and noble houses are still wearing their nobility shields.

Iglesia de Santa María

The Church of Santa María is a gothic building whose construction began shortly after the foundation of Viana by Sancho VII in the 13th century.

Iglesia de San Pedro

Another sight of the settlement is the church of San Pedro from the 14th  century near the western flank of the town’s wall.
