Manjarín is the hamlet with the smallest population in all of the Camino. Located just 4 kilometers from Foncebadón, after leaving Cruz del Hierro, Manjarín is a very unique place, giving a hint of what old-time Albergues might look like.
The only permanent inhabitant of this place is Tomás, the hospitalero and as he says: “One of the last templar knights”. He serves the pilgrims during the whole year, feeding and healing them, and providing them with a place to stay for the night.
