Villadangos is a small settlement of Roman origin and a place of several confrontations between King Alfonso and Doña Urraca.
On entering the village we pass by a fountain (Ancos fountain) of abundant waters much appreciated by the pilgrims. The church of Villadangos was built in the 17th century.
